The Longhorns will make their 34th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament and 18th in the last 20 seasons. Texas is one of six to appear in at least 26 of the last 30 NCAA tourneys.
Texas will be a 10 seed and will face 7 seed Nevada on Friday in Nashville, Tenn. in the South Region.
The tip-off time has been set for approximately 3:30 p.m. (30 minutes following completion of Cincinnati-Georgia State game that tips at 1 p.m.)
