It was far from what San Antonio Spurs fans were hoping to see in a win, but as Gregg Popovich said after the game, a win is a win.
After losing their last four home games, the Spurs found themselves struggling to maintain a lead against the last place Memphis Grizzlies Monday night.
Fortunately, Lamarcus Aldridge was back in the line up, although he seemed rusty on the court. Aldridge didn’t get into much of a rhythm until parts of the fourth quarter and had 7 points on the night.
However, it was the veteran point guard that came off the bench to ignite the Spurs. Tony Parker scored a season-high 23-points in the 100-98 victory over the Grizzlies.
The Spurs improve to 37-27 on the season and are currently 6th in their conference.
