A man was shot to death inside a home in Schertz this afternoon, and police say the dead man was an intruder, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say a man who was brandishing a handgun forced his way into a home in the 4000 block of Brooke Hollow.
Inside the home, police say the occupant if the home shoots the intruder several times.
Police and EMS rushed the victim to SAMMC where he was pronounced dead.
Police ate still investigating what happened inside the home. No word yet on whether charges will be filed.
