Former San Antonio Spur Rasual Butler has died in a car wreck in California. The wreck also killed his wife, R&B singer Leah LaBelle.

Police in Studio City, California say Butler's SUV ran off Ventura Boulevard and hit a parking meter before hitting a wall and flipping over in a shopping center parking lot.

In his 15 years in the NBA, he played for the Miami Heat, New Orleans Hornets, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors, Indiana Pacers, Washington Wizards and San Antonio Spurs.

He was with the Spurs during the 2015-2016 season.
