Residents of an east side neighborhood who had reported a suspicious man inside a van shot the driver at mid morning today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police started getting calls before dawn about the van in the neighborhood, with residents worried about children going to school.
It happened on Harlow Street, which is off Eisenhauer Rd.
At mid morning, a call came in to report that the man had been shot. He was taken to the hospital but will be okay.
No arrests have been reported.Police on the scene say the victim was a repo man who was in the neighborhood trying to spot a car he had been hired to reposess.
