Walmart is sending mobile pharmacies to the hardest hit areas of Hurricane Harvey. More than two dozen Walmart and Sam's Club stores are closed along the Texas Gulf Coast because of the now Tropical Storm.
The Walmart Emergency Operations Center says its working to get emergency items on the shelves as quickly as possible for customers, while maintaining the safety of their drivers. In the past 24 hours the company has shipped 265 truckloads of water and 38 truckloads of other emergency supplies to stores throughout South Texas.
They expect to send mobile pharmacies to Rockport, Portland and Aransas Pass as soon as roads are cleared.
