President Trump monitoring Hurricane Harvey

The White House is expecting President Trump to visit parts of Texas affected by Hurricane Harvey early next week.  Homeland Security Advisor Tom Bossert said the President will also address the nation if it is merited and he is considering making an emergency declaration as early as tonight. Bossert added that he has a "tremendous amount of confidence" in FEMA, as well as state and local emergency responders.  He asked Americans to heed officials' advice in all stages of the storm, saying, "now is not the time to lose faith in government institutions." Bossert said President Trump's top priority is ensuring the safety of the four-point-six million Americans in the storm's path.
