A would be armed robbery is, hopefully, sitting in the Bexar County Jail contemplating a new career, after pulling off a robbery that was like something out of a Woody Allen movie early today, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the man in his late twenties walked into the Valero station at I-35 and AT&T Parkway in an attempt to stick it up.
But no sooner had the man pulled out his gun when a police officer walked in right behind him.
The wanna be tough guy panicked, threw away the gun, and attempted to run off.
He got about thirty feet, and was arrested on the access road of I-35, right in front of the station.
He is expected to face multiple charges.
