UPDATE: The man they were trying to arrest has been taken into custody without incident.
San Antonio Police and SWAT units were called out this afternoon to a standoff just north of downtown, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police said they were trying to serve an arrest warrant when an individual barricaded himself inside a house at Evergreen and Park.
That is just up the street from the location where two SAPD officers were shot one week ago today.
Streets are closed in the area.
