Extreme heat is causing problems for crews battling a rash of wildfires in the western U.S. The Utah Division of Forestry says more than 14-hundred people are fighting the massive Brian Head Fire that has now burned more than 46-thousand acres. Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has declared a state of emergency to deal with the more than a dozen large wildfires since April, saying winds and high temperatures have made conditions much worse. The Frye Fire in southern Arizona covered more than 37-thousand acres as of Sunday with 39-percent of the perimeter contained.
