The show business community is reacting on social media to the death of Adam West. The Seattle native best known for portraying Batman on TV in the late '60s passed away last night at his Los Angeles home following a battle with leukemia. He was 88. Mark Hamill tweeted that West "was such a wonderful actor and so kind." Matthew Modine said on Twitter that Adam was "so kind...sharing insights about the business of show." 20th Century Fox -- who produced the "Batman" television series -- tweeted "The Bright Knight...rest in peace, Adam West."
