Interstate standoff after police chase and fiery crash

Police took a suspect into custody after hours of negotiations on eastbound I-30 at Cooper in Arlington.  The suspect has been put in an ambulance after getting treatment at the scene.  It all started after Fort Worth police received information about a tractor trailer driving erratically and hitting cars on the freeway.  The big rig refused to pull over, until it wrecked out on 30 at Cooper in Arlington and caught fire.  Flames smoldered for hours while SWAT negotiators attempted to get the suspect to surrender.  Over a dozen people, including a driver whose car was destroyed by flames, suffered minor injuries and should be okay.
