In a routine that has become depressingly familiar across South Texas, from Crystal City to Eagle Pass, the FBI today raided City Hall in Laredo, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
The FBI said only it is 'lawfully present' at the places that are being searched, which include the Webb County Courthouse and other government offices, officials said.
Several offices in Laredo were closed to the public and to employees today.
Officials declined to comment further on the FBI's activities.
