Feds: "DREAMER" Was Dreaming of Child Porn, Will Do Prison Time, Be Deported

Most migrants from Mexico come to the United States to get a better job and find a better life, but instead of looking for work, Jose Candelario Cuellar-Lopez spent his time collecting a giant collection of child pornography.

1200 WOAI News reports the migrant from Mexico, who was granted legal status thanks to the DREAM Act and President Obama's DACA program, was sentenced in San Antonio this week to about six years in federal prison.  Federal investigators say Cuellar-Lopez, who was living legally in Somerset, had 51 files on his home computers which 'depicted the sexual abuse of children.

"A federal raid at Cuellar-Lopez' home revealed 'multiple videos depicting nude prepubescent males’ were found on his computer.   Jose Candelario Cuellar-Lopez was interviewed onsite and admitted using peer to peer file sharing software to download and collect child pornography," an FBI Special Agent wrote in court documents.

"He also stated he was solely responsible for any and all child pornography located on any of the seized electric devices."

The Feds say Cuellar-Lopez entered the U.S. illegally from Mexico in 1994, and 'filed a petition for relief under the Consideration for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA' program in 2012.

Once he’s completed his time in prison, that protection goes away, and he’ll be deported.
