A man was shot and wounded as he stood in front of his house in a quiet neighborhood on the city's northeast side this morning, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the man was standing near the street on the 5100 block of Sierra Madre, which is off El Sendero Street east of Nacogdoches, when a car pulled over and the victim and somebody in the car opened fire.
The victim was shot once in the stomach and was rushed to the hospital with non life threatening wounds.
Police say the gunman and the victim knew each other and had argued before the shooting.So far, no suspects are in custody.
