MI Gov Vetoes Lifting Capacity Limits On Graduations

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is vetoing a bill that would have lifted pandemic-related capacity limits for high school graduations.

The legislature sent the bills to her hoping to put some constraints on her emergency powers.

Whitmer said it was half-baked and punchless, especially since capacity limits for outdoor events have already been lifted.

Indoor capacity is limited to 50%. The state is expected to life all mask and gathering restrictions on July 1st.
