The agency that manages the Texas power grid says Monday's total eclipse won't disrupt the state's electric supply. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas says the eclipse will interrupt solar power production for a few minutes, but there's more than enough natural gas and wind production to keep the lights on. CPS Energy in San Antonio is also planning ahead for a brief dip in solar production during the four-minutes or so the eclipse will last.
