CPS Energy is adding more solar power to its lineup. The utility has entered into a long-term power purchase agreement with Genesis Consolidated Industries Holdings. The deal involves a 150-megawatt solar farm called Exodus 1, which will be built in Caldwell County. The project is expected to come online in summer 2025. Genesis Consolidated will donate at least 300-thousand-dollars to technical and engineering educational programs in the San Antonio area once the solar farm fires up.
