San Antonio Police have released new information in the deaths of a pregnant 18-year-old and her boyfriend. Police now believe Savanah Soto and her 33-year-old boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, were murdered.
Police Chief William McManus says that investigators have found some key evidence in the case. "Detectives right now are combing through days of surveillance video from several different locations that the victims were known to be," said McManus. "Detectives are hopeful that surveillance video will lead up the events leading up to their death."
Police released video showing an unknown man driving the victim's car before meeting up with the driver of a pickup truck. Police are combing through the victim's social media to see if there are links to that truck.
Police say Soto and Guerra had each been shot in the head. Soto's unborn baby also died. No gun was found in the car and Guerra's cell phone was also missing.
