Texans Take Down Jaguars In AFC South Matchup

The Texans jumped out to a 17-point halftime lead and cruised to a 37-17 win over the AFC South rival Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium. Houston rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud continued his strong start to the year by completing 20-of-30 passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns in Houston's first win. Rookie wideout Tank Dell showed a strong connection with Stroud, reeling in five catches for 145 yards and a score. Andrew Beck returned a kickoff for a TD and the Texans blocked a field goal in a standout day for the special teams unit. Houston improved to 1-and-2. They return home to host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon.
