As the Texas Longhorns prepare to tangle with the Alabama Crimson Tide, Head Coach Steve Sarkisian took time to discuss the upcoming game.
"Last week I thought we had a good week of preparation and felt good about it, but our players always seem to go to another level and take me to a space of wow and they have more in there," said Sarkisian. "I thought these four days of practice this week have been really good. I thought the intensity has been really great. Mental intensity has been on point. We are playing a hard-nosed, tough, physical football team, but yet extremely well-coached, and so those details are going to matter in this game in all three phases.
Kickoff is at 6 p.m. on Saturday night.
