Ever since Texas banned most abortions last year, pregnant Texas women have been traveling to other states for the procedure. More Texas women got abortions in Oklahoma than Oklahoma residents in 2022, until Oklahoma also banned abortions last year. Texas women also terminated pregnancies in Kansas, which would require a constitutional amendment to ban the practice, and in Colorado, where abortion is constitutionally protected.
