Lawsuit Filed Over Texas' TikTok Ban

Texas's ban of TikTok has drawn its first lawsuit. A group of college professors who study technology claim research is being hurt by what they called an unconstitutional limit of free speech. Texas bans the social media site on state-owned computers and devices, citing espionage fears. That includes those owned by public universities. The suit, brought by the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University, asks the court to carve out an exception for university faculty
