The bond is now $7.5 million for the man accused of shooting and killing five of his neighbors in Southeast Texas last week. Francisco Oropesa made his first appearance in court on Wednesday. Oropesa was arrested Tuesday evening following a four-day manhunt. He faces five counts of first-degree murder, but officials say the charges could be upgraded to capital murder. Officers also arrested Oropesa's domestic partner, 52-year-old Divimara Nava, on a charge of hindering apprehension of a felon.
