A small plane crashed on a highway near Houston today as the pilot was trying to make an emergency landing. The plane clipped an 18-wheeler and then caught fire after it landed on the road. DPS officer Richard Standifer says luckily no one was injured, but Grand Parkway was shut down for several hours. Investigators say the pilot told them he lost power shortly after taking off from West Houston Airport.
