More than a dozen people are injured after an overnight flight from Brazil to Houston. United Airlines says 15 people were hurt when the plane experienced "unexpected turbulence" on the flight from Rio de Janeiro. Two passengers and three crewmembers were taken to the hospital, but their injuries are considered to be minor. This comes after at least 36 people are injured following turbulence on a Hawaiian Airlines flight from Phoenix to Honolulu. That flight hit severe turbulence on Sunday about 30 minutes before landing, with some passengers sent flying from their seats.
