A federal judge in Texas says it's unconstitutional to disarm somebody for being under a protective order. U.S. District Judge David Counts was appointed by former President Donald Trump. He ruled last week that people under a protective order still have Second Amendment rights. Counts based his opinion on a recent Supreme Court case, noting the lack of a historical record of domestic abuse law that would limit access to firearms.
