More than two-dozen illegal immigrants, who were being smuggled in the back of a big rig, are in custody after the driver stopped early this morning in San Antonio and opened the doors. The cops swarmed the shopping center. But dozens more migrants were able to escape. Police say the people had been smuggled from various countries in Central America. The driver is under arrest. So are two men who were there to pick up the illegal immigrants. They've been handed over to Homeland Security.
