The Texas Attorney General is taking the fight over mask mandates to the state Supreme Court. Attorney General Ken Paxton posted the announcement on social media on Friday night after Governor Greg Abbott lost several bids to overturn local mask mandates. Harris County Attorney Christian D. Menefee said the court will make a decision on the case "on an expedited basis." This is all after Governor Abbott banned local mask mandates state wide earlier in the pandemic.
