Congressman Chip Roy is looking for answers from the Electric Reliability Council of Texas. Roy sent a letter to ERCOT asking questions about the state's power grid. He asked the council whether Texas has enough power to get through the summer. He also wanted to know if the power market will function properly to get the capacity online. Roy says he needs these answers not just as a member of Congress but as a Texan, just like millions of others who want to ensure their power is stable.
