All Bexar County Courts Reopen Today On Limited Basis

All Bexar County courts are allowed to conduct in-person hearings as of today. In-person proceedings were shut down last March when the pandemic came to town, and court activity was limited to remote hearings. Local Administrative Judge Ron Rangel submitted a reopening plan to County Commissioners recently. The guidelines call for in-person jury trials to resume in six to eight-weeks, on a limited basis. Rangel says social distancing, masks, and disinfectant use will still be required.
