Bexar County sheriff's deputies are investigating human remains that were found near Calaveras Lake.
Sheriff Javier Salazar says a game warden found the remains in the 9400 block of S. Foster Rd.
Salazar says the medical examiner needs to confirm, but the sheriff's department believes the remains may be those of 38-year-old Curtis Perry, a man who has been missing. Deputies had searched the area in August, after getting leads that Perry had been on the property and may have been killed there, but were unable to find anything at the time.
Salazar says while he believes the remains that were found are those of Perry, he can't say for sure until the medical examiner has a chance to rule in the case.
