Court Tosses Out "Save-Chick-Fil-A" Lawsuit Over Airport Decision

A state appeals court is tossing out a conservative group's lawsuit over the city of San Antonio's decision to bar Chick-fil-A from the San Antonio International Airport.

The city decided not to allow the popular chicken chain because it had made donations to groups opposed to same-sex marriage.

Governor Greg Abbott signed the "Save Chick-fil-A" bill into law last July, and it took effect on September 1st. The lawsuit claimed the city's exclusion of Chick-fil-A violated the law. The court ruled the law isn't retroactive, and the city's decision was made before the law took effect.
