Kiddie Park Announces Reopening Date

After more than two months, Kiddie Park, one of San Antonio’s most treasured attractions, is reopening its iconic gates on Friday, June 19. Starting today, guests can start booking birthday parties online on Kiddie Park’s website. Kiddie Park hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

“We’ve been looking forward to welcoming back families to Kiddie Park so that they can enjoy these historic rides as generations have before,” said Tim Morrow, President & CEO, San Antonio Zoological Society. “We’re thrilled that the birthday party tradition can restart here for all San Antonians.”

Kiddie Park will be implementing safety guidelines put in place by the State of Texas. Changes to provide guests with a safe visit include: limited capacity of 50%, additional hand sanitizer stations, social distancing reminders, and face masks will be strongly recommended for all guests, ages ten and older. Touchpoints and tables will be regularly wiped down. Touchpoints on rides will be wiped down. Kiddie Park will also conduct temperature checks on all staff and vendors at the beginning of their shift.

Guests can purchase a daily unlimited rides wristband can be purchased for $12.00 for all of the rides. An observer wristband will need to be purchased for all non-riders for $1.00.
