Voters Should Bring Their Own Pens And Sanitizer To Polls

The top election official in Texas is issuing guidelines for the protection of voters and election workers at polling places during the pandemic. Secretary of State Ruth Hughs is advising Texas voters to bring hand sanitizer in order to disinfect after voting and interacting with people at the polls. She also suggests people bring their own pens to sign documents. Hughs encourages voters to observe social distancing and to wear masks, although these should be easy to remove in case an election judge wants to confirm identity.
