McAllen Mayor Jim Darling is under self quarantine. A city media statement yesterday says the mayor is going to work from home the next two weeks. The decision comes on recommendation of Mayor Darling's doctor after the mayor and his family returned from a trip out of town. The statement also says his doctor is not recommending a coronavirus test for any of the family members none of whom have symptoms but if they do become symptomatic they will be tested. The mayor's self quarantine ends March 28.
