Missing Arlington Teen Found Dead

Accident or crime scene cordon tape

The search for a missing Arlington teenager has reached a tragic conclusion. Officials say the body of 19 year old Evan Lacey was found late Friday night on the seventy-two hundred block of Webb Ferrell Road while work crews were fixing a water leak. He was positively identified through fingerprint analysis. Lacey was last seen by his family going to work on December 17th, but he never showed up at his job in Grand Prairie. His vehicle was found in a Fort Worth neighborhood four days later, raising further questions. The cause of Lacey's death is not known at this time, but his body will be sent to the medical examiner's office. Arlington police say the case is now a homicide investigation.
