State Representative Poncho Nevarez says he will seek treatment for grief and addiction issues that have consumed him. The Eagle Pass Democrat admitted on Thursday that he dropped an envelope with four small baggies of cocaine at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in September. Airport employees found the baggies, which were stamped with Nevarez's official House seal. Nevarez announced earlier this month that he would not be seeking re-election in 2020. A warrant has been issued for his arrest for drug possession.
