ICE Criminal Immigrant Roundup Nets Dozens

US-IMMIGRATION-ICE

A criminal immigrant sweep has netted several dozen arrests in central and south Texas. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials says that last week's proceedings concluded with the capture of 52 immigrants, of which 35 had criminal histories. The balance was made up of fugitives slated for final removal and those who had already been previously deported but then entered the country again illegally. The immigrants from Mexico, Central America and Cuba were picked up in the Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, Laredo, Austin and Waco.
