San Antonio firefighters were out at 4AM on this blustery morning fighting a fire that damaged a northwest side home, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
When firefighters arrived at the home in the 8300 block of Wimberwilde, in the Great Northwest' subdivision off Tezel Road, they found smoke and flames coming out of the attic.
A man who lives alone in the home managed to get out safely.Firefighters worked to prevent the fire from spreading in the strong winds.
It is believed to have started in a furnace unit in the attic. Nobody was hurt.
