Some TSA Workers To Get $500 Bonus During Shutdown

TSA

The TSA is coming up with some money for its employees who continue to work without getting paid during the partial government shutdown. Some workers  will get a one-time 500-dollar bonus if they worked during the Christmas  season.  TSA Administrator David Pekoske is also going to pay those who  were working on the day the shutdown began, December 22nd.  The TSA  reported that more than five-percent of its workers did not report on  Friday to help screen nearly two-million passengers.  On the same Friday  in 2018, about three-percent did not report to work as scheduled.
