It's Official: This Month is the Wettest September Ever in San Antonio

This weekend's heavy rains have pushed September 2018 to becoming the wettest September in San Antonio history, with records dating back to the 1880s, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports,

1.86" of rain fell at the official measuring station at San Antonio International Airport on Saturday.

That means 16.88" has fallen in the first 22 days of the month, breaking all previous records for the months.

All we need for this month to become the wettest month ever is another 1.26" to surpass October of 1998 and July of 2002, both of which prompted deadly flooding.

And, there is more rain in our forecast.
