A man was shot multiple times overnight as he was walking down an east side street, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the 26 year old man was show int he chest and back as he walked down the 600 block of Gulf Street just west of Walters St.
Relative rushed him to a downtown hospital for treatment.
Witnesses told police they say a 'what car' rushing away from the scene of the shooting, but police don't have much else to go on.
