A 30 year old man is in critical condition after he was shot in the parking lot behind the Mama Margie's restaurant at South Zarzamora and Southwest Military overnight, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say the man was walking through the parking lot about 11 Sunday night when he got into a confrontation with another person, and was shot once in the chest.
A woman then drove the man around the corner to the KFC in the 2500 block of Southwest Military, where she called 911.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital with critical wounds. He refused to give detectives any information about who shot him, or why.
