North Korea: Strike On American Mainland Is Inevitable

North Korea

North Korea's foreign minister says a missile strike on the American mainland is "inevitable."  Ri Yong Ho addressed the United Nations General Assembly today.  His comments came hours after the Pentagon announced it had flown bombers and fighter jets near the North Korean coast.  North Korea's foreign minister called President Trump "a mentally deranged person full of megalomania and complacency."  He added that Trump was on a suicide mission and that North Korea is prepared to defend itself against any attack.

This is the latest in escalating tensions between the U.S. and the isolated communist country.  The U.S. imposed more sanctions on North Korea this week as the country refuses to halt its nuclear weapons and ballistic missile program.
