Wife Breaks Down When She Sees Air Force Husband Walk Off Plane

Jennifer Gentile had been apart from her Air Force husband Dave for four long months. After being separated by more than 7,000 miles, they were finally reuniting.

On July 17, 2017, Jennifer joined roughly 100 other families waiting for the arrival of their loved ones in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“I think there will be a lot of adrenaline and hopefully a really happy moment,” Jennifer says in the video below, captured that very day.

Though Jennifer has done this many times before, nothing ever prepares her for the intense emotions she feels when she gets to see her Air Force hubby.

“Last time, I thought I’d hold it together, and it didn’t happen,” she laughs.

Being a captain in the Air Force, the planes always do a flyby above the waiting families. But this time, the plane veered too far away for Jennifer’s liking.

“Alright, honey, where you going?” she says looking up at the plane.

But it’s not long before it lands and the door opens. “That’s him right there,” Jennifer says. Then she cups her hand over her mouth in disbelief and takes off running toward her Air Force hero!

Dave asks Jennifer if this deployment was easier for her but she replies it never gets easier. I’m sure she’s more than relieved to finally be able to hold her hubby of 13 years after such a long wait.
