A test drive went really wrong for a man on the north side overnight.
Police say the man in his twenties told them he was test driving an SUV that was being sold by a private seller, and was driving down Conway Street, which is just north of the Quarry, when the gas pedal jammed.
He said the vehicle 'took off,' and he went down a median onto the railroad tracks which run next to the Quarry.
The driver managed to get out, but a southbound train smashed into the SUV.
Nobody was hurt, but the owner of the SUV will not be pleased.
