John Heard who played Peter McCallister, the father in 'Home Alone" and various other movies roles in the 80's and 90's was found dead Friday in Palo Alto, California. Heard was 72.
No official cause of death has been released.
TMZ is reporting Heard was found dead in a hotel by the maid service. Heard reportedly had back surgery on Wednesday at Stanford Medical Center and was staying a the hotel while recovering.
