It's being hailed as a major breakthrough in quantum physics. Chinese scientists have successfully teleported a sub-atomic particle from the Earth to an orbiting satellite. "The Guardian" reports it's a record distance for transferring the complete properties of a particle from one place to another instantaneously. But experts believe we're still a long way from being able to say "beam me up Scotty." As one astrophysicist put it, transporting anything as large as a human being is a different problem entirely.
