A driver plowed over a disabled woman in an electric wheelchair this morning and then drove away, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
.Police say the woman was trying to cross Blanco Road at Fresno in her electric wheelchair. She was at a marked crosswalk and was crossing with a green light when a black car blew through the intersection and hit her.
The 35 year old woman was rushed to the hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
Police have several charges awaiting the driver of the black car when he is arrested.
